Work Regions:
Caregivers may only work in the region specified on their visa.
• New Caregivers: Region matches employer's residence area.
• Existing Caregivers: Region matches current employer's area at next visa renewal.
Regional Employment Limits:
• Area 1 (Tel Aviv Region): Work allowed anywhere in Israel.
• Area 2 (Central Region): Allowed in Haifa, Jerusalem, and Peripheral Regions. Not allowed in Area 1.
• Area 3 (Peripheral Region): Only allowed in northern and southern peripheral areas. Not allowed in Areas 1 and 2.
Exceptions:
If employment ends due to employer's death or move to a nursing home, caregivers may find new employment anywhere in Israel within 90 days, provided they have been in Israel for under 51 months, and the new job is registered with PIBA through a Placement Agency.
